Scarlet Sky Press is a Manitoba based publisher of literary and trade prairie fiction. Founded in 2024, we strive to give voice to rural writers, particularly new writers. Recognizing a niche often overlooked by traditional publishers, we hope to publish classic prairie novels similar in tone to Canadian icons Margaret Laurence, Sinclair Ross and W. O. Mitchell, but with a 21st century perspective. Our model is unique. Selected authors can choose the traditional publishing path or our partnership model where authors have greater control and more profitable royalty rates. Contact us for more information.
